Overall we really enjoyed our first visit to the Martinsville Speedway! Its unique configuration -- likened by some to the shape of a paperclip -- guarantees plenty of action and makes it a popular raceway with NASCAR fans. Each site has its own fire ring. For once! The staff are incredible and if you have any issues they will go out of their way to resolve them.

Guest cannot rent their own port-a-johns. My hubs and I have been to three races here so far--one in the fall and two in the spring. Come join the fun in one of our social media platforms! Since then, they've laid lotsa asphalt down and it's much easier to move around the throngs of people to find your driver's trailer. We sat on turn 3.....great seats. It should be like Talladega super speedway where it was very convenient to get the items needed to maximize the enjoyment of the race.

One thing confused me about the parking, the closed lots seemed to still have plenty of parking available, yet we were not allowed to park there and had to spend $10 in a private lot, which was ok because it benefited a school, but still... why close the lots when there are still plenty of spots open.. We rented the r.e. The South Lot Camping is located near Gate 17 off of Brass Shop Road. Other amenities and features at Indian Heritage RV Park include lounge room, game room, heated bath and shower facilities and quick access to the river for on the water fun. The only dislike I have about the track is being surrounded by smokers in the crowd. The only thing that may be bad about parking, it's a little slippery if it rains. Overall, great venue!Side note- The track doesnt allow glass bottles and all coolers must be soft sided. NO GLASS BOTTLES. Bathrooms are cleaner than those at many other major sporting events, and there are concessions everywhere.

Goose Point is a located in a quiet area near many of the great outdoor features the local area has to offer. Camping at Indian Heritage gives you nearby access to groceries, laundry services, restaurants and propane refill.

Law enforcement did a great job of directing traffic and enjoyed the free parking which was a easy walk to the venue. All sites are 18 feet wide, 42 feet deep. There were concerts and events going on through the night to keep everyone entertained.I really like this track because you can really see everything.
